Dear Readers:

I cannot wait until the documentary, "Waiting for Superman" to be released. I have "lived" this documentary. The state of America's educational system is in Stage 4 cancer. Politicians, Oprah, etc.. . . may say that it can be "saved;" however, what is going to happen once Oprah's show ends? Who is then going to be the voice, with $$$, to save our "educational prison?" I cannot imagine my child being given a lottery ball and then PRAYING that his # is called. WTF?!?!/ This is America - the land of hopes, wishes, and dreams?"

I have a serious problem with administrators making $130-150 K a year, and they cannot write a LESSON plan nor lead a classroom discussion on a topic. I have read articles about this very matter. My question is, were many of these administrators given administrative positions as a "reward" for being a "yes man?" How many poor educators have you seen rewarded with administrative positions and salaries?

Am I shocked? NO. Had I suspected this for quite some time? YES. There were some red flags - - - - strong sentiments regarding gays; Bernice King's involvement in his ministry (you will have to perform some google searches to see where I am going there).

People need to quit making gods out of these pastors/ministers and worship the true and almighty GOD. Man is not God. These ministers are not God; Obama is not JESUS.

Readers:

When I read this story, I could not help but choke up. This man's life is ruined on a lie and greed. How will he gain his credibility back? Each time a potential employer googles his name, they are going to learn about his situation involving a child whose parents were attempting to extort the school.

When will this stop?

The weekend

Good morning!

It's been awhile. Why? It's called LIFE and working these hey-mon jobs. Sweet Lord, I have my days mixed up. I'm back @ the local state university, and I am still doing my Whitney Houston "Greatest Love of All" stint @ the high school. My high schoolers even say, "Dr. C., are you going to the thingee today?" I'm getting good, because I knew what they were talking about, and I said, "Uh, I think today is Friday; therefore, I am off."

Quit laughing!!!

Things that are going on:

* I got some GOOD sleep last night; I was in bed by 7pm.
* You couldn't pay me to purchase anything else from April Foster and her company, Studio Calico (www.studiocalico.com and www,studiocalico.blogspot.com
). My product kept coming to me damaged. Thus, I call her company and explain the situation. They were willing to work w/me until the last damaged box. She wanted me to send her pics, AND to give her the name of the UPS store employee where my items are shipped. I did all of that, and then she proceeds to inform me that 99% of her customers are pleased, and I happen to fall into the 1% that has damaged goods. I politely read her the riot act, and I told her to cancel my membership. 'ITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once again, 'ITCH!!!!!!!!! Considering the hits that the scrapbooking industry has had, you would think that they would be happy for EVERY customer that they have. She sends items in cute paper bags inside a cardboard box with NO cardboard to support the paper. Then, she asks me to "work around" the damaged products.
* The man is good. We are going to a spin class in a few minutes
* God is ever so patient with me
* I am in search of a good book. Hmm, I am thinking about reading Room. Have you read it?
* El Debarge is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Isn't Jennifer's baby beautiful? When is she going to realize that her baby's daddy is g-a-y? I love you Jennifer, but DAMN. Go back to the "maintenance engineer," James!!!

Needs a lot of PRAYER! God is able, and He is most definitely with me; however, Satan is also powerful, and he has attempted to destroy me during the past week.
