Take A Look Into My Life: ONE YEAR ALREADY?!

Exactly one year ago today, I was moving into my first home. Oh, how I cannot believe that 365 days have gone by already. WOW. Indeed, I am ever so thankful to God for this BLESSING.

Have you had days where you want to scream WTF? I have my daily share of them. This is the section where I'll share them.

WTFism #1:

Why do AARP-age men keep hitting on me?!?!?!? Sweet LORD, don't they understand that I have ONE daddy, and I am NOT trying to replace him with another one? I am NOT ready for AARP literature to arrive @ my home. Unless those AARP benefits say, "Marry a 33 year old, and we'll help you make her student loan payment, they need to "keep a steppin'."

I see them as the Lion seeking courage. My name is NOT Dorothy. They need to leave OZ and WAKE UP.

It's a WTF? moment when you are calling professionals about some BIZNESS and your calls keep getting forwarded to their voicemail. Deliver me, because I KNOW that you are there. Finally, when I say, "This is Dr. C. It is imperative that I speak to X. This is my third call. Is X available?" that her co-worker makes sure that she answers the phone.

Sometimes, I am thankful for my title!

The folks warned me years ago that I would know my true friends when the following things occurred:

1.) Engagement

2.) Purchasing my 1st home

Right now, folks are hating on #2. I haven't told too many folks, but of that group, some "true colors are shining through".
